Big Island PMC offers dependable and professional home watch services for our Clients, eliminating stress and worry while being away from their home. We take pride in our business and give Homeowners confidence that their property is our highest priority and cared for with Aloha! Our goal is to assure our Clients return to their piece of paradise in the same condition they left it.

We are the OLDEST Accredited Members of the National Home Watch Association (NHWA) providing services on the Big Island. Our home watch company monitors the condition of your home while you’re away with routinely scheduled interior/exterior inspections. We will perform a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues. You will be emailed a detailed report of the inspection after each visit. The visits are completed on a weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis. We’ll arrange a consultation to meet with you and customize a plan specific to your needs.

Big Island PMC is NOT a Property Management company or a House Sitter.  We do not coordinate vacation rental reservations and bookings or stay in your home as a House Sitter would.   A Property Management Company’s focus is to generate rental income from your property. 

Our primary focus is taking care of your home and acting as your eyes and ears while you’re away. We established Big Island PMC after becoming permanent residents on the Island. We recognized the need for a reputable home watch business through personal experience of our vacation home. Owning property in Hawaii presents many challenges, especially when it’s left unattended.  

We can complete most general home repairs first hand or provide our consulting services if contracted work is necessary. The Owner of Big Island PMC is a Master Plumber and has worked in the construction industry for 35 years.

It is the mission and goal of the National Home Watch Association to establish and maintain the highest set of standards and ethics for all Home Watch companies in the United States of America and Canada;

To establish and maintain trust and confidence between homeowners and Home Watch professionals;

To protect the public from uninsured, unbonded and unethical individuals who represent themselves as Home Watch professionals;

To promote public awareness of the Home Watch Industry; And

To ensure that only companies who represent the highest levels of professionalism are accredited as members of the National Home Watch Association.
